This is probably one of the best catches I have ever seen. The stuff dreams are made of. Had the Mets gone on to win this game Chavez’ 6th inning steal of this Rolen home run may have well gone down as the most important catch in Mets franchise history. With the inscription on the wall, the fact that it was a game 7, this could have been, and still may be, on the posters of the young Mets fans of tomorrow. This catch is why I love baseball.
