The Transit Authority must not give their drivers very many sick days because if you clear your throat and cough on the bus, they will pull over, take the entire bus out of service and kick everyone off of it to prevent your germs from spreading.
Wall Street banker Michael Goga told the New York Post that he cleared his throat and coughed. The driver told him he had to get off the bus because he didn’t want germs spread. When Goga refused to leave, the driver took the bus out of service and ordered everyone off in Lower Manhattan.
Goga then called police to file a complaint.
Transit spokesman Charles Seaton said the driver only wanted Goga to cover his mouth, and the passenger than dialed 911. Police arrived and all passengers were ordered off the bus.
Maybe driving a mass transit vehicle isn’t the best job for a germaphobe.

Want a neat little picture by your comments? Get one here. The MTA says the driver simply asked the guy to cover his mouth, but the guy refused. Perhaps this thing was just two hotheads blustering their way into the newspapers?
