Traditionally you’re supposed to close the doors before you pull out of the station.
The Manhattan-bound A train left the Grant Ave. station in Brooklyn with some doors open late Saturday night and didn’t stop until the first few cars reached the next station, at Euclid Ave., a transit source said.
“The doors were in fact open,” another source said.
If you’ve ever walked between cars on the subway you have an idea of how loud and intimidating it is. Imagine half the doors in your car being open as you fly through the tunnel.
Isn’t the smell of urine already powerful enough in the subway?
