November went out in style yesterday at a balmy 68 degrees capping off what turned out to be the seventh warmest November on the books.
“We are in an El Niño winter where we would expect to see temperatures average higher than normal in the Northeast,” said Dennis Feltgen, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Washington.
Feltgen predicted seesaw temperatures all winter.
The mercury supposed to get up to 70 degrees today before afternoon thunderstorms usher in a more winter-like weekend.
