Metadish is proud to welcome a new member to the fold. Elizabeth Mckenna, a west coast transplant Elizabeth is a New York natural who has thrived in the city since arriving almost two years ago.
We asked her to write a little bio and here’s what she came up with:
As the youngest of twelve, Elizabeth McKenna faded easily into the background. She realized the only way she would ever get noticed was if she forced her family to act in plays she wrote about Thanksgiving (with Native American characters named “Tralala”) and Christmas (in which her sister acted as a mute tree next to the real Christmas tree). She went on to write for newspapers (El Cid), literary journals (Riverrun) and her own narrative non-fiction. She found, however, that she did not feel comfortable not writing about baby bump watches and conjunctinyms (i.e. TomKat, Bennifer and Vaugnifer). She has satisfied her craving to report on the latest celebrity break-up at metadish.com.
She apparently has a fetish for talking about herself in the third person as well.
Welcome aboard Elizabeth.

Welcome to the team, girl! Way to typecast the sister, so she doesn’t outshine you. You’ll totally make it as a New Yorker.
