10531636_240X180.jpg In the Bronx late last evening, “suspicious behavior” led the cops to chase down and kill 19 year old Timur Person.

Police came upon a group of four teenagers, among whom was Person, standing in front of 1240 Walton Ave in Mount Eden.

All of the teens fled. Person attempted to enter a locked building, which he previously resided in, when one police officer tackled him. Another officer entered the scene and shot Person three times. He was later pronounced dead at Lincoln hospital.

Witness Hector Suarez stated that the cop were kicking him and repeatedly yelled “let go of the weapon.”

“He was holding his waist,” Suarez said. “He was just holding the gun to stay in his beltline. Right when he was on the floor, they shot him.”

The incident was the fifth in a series of police shootings, beginning with the police fatal shooting of Sean Bell in Queens, Nov. 25, only hours before his wedding. The other three were not fatal.
