After years of trying to make sense of Princess Diana’s death, officials concluded that she and Dodi al Fayed’s accident, while being chased by paparazzi, was not murder. According to former Metropolitan Police Chief John Stevens , much to the chagrin of conspiracy theorists, chauffeur Henri Paul was drunk and driving over the speed limit.
Some believed that Princess Diana and Dodi al Fayed were murdered as a result of pregnancy rumors and a possible marriage between the couple. This has been ruled as untrue.
