Teenaged, minimum wage worker, Christopher Montgomery of Lynbrook, returned $24,000 to his manager, which he discovered while picking up soda cups, empty popcorn tubs and gum from between the aisles at a movie theater in Long Island. The money was returned to RoseMarie Limoncelli, who thought it was best to carry around the cash since she did not have time to go to the bank. Maybe she really had to make the 8:00 showing of Charlotte’s Web.
Montgomery, whose good deed did not go unnoticed, endures unwelcome exposure as the grateful woman, who believes everyone’s greatest ambition is fame, thrust him into the spotlight. The teens mother, Donna Montgomery, confirms that he really just wants to be left alone.
Further proving his altruistic tendencies, Montgomery refused any cash award.
