Timothy McDarrah, a former columnist for Us Weekly and Manhattan resident, tried to meet a 13-year-old girl he found on the internet for the purpose of sex. His sick plans were thwarted when he was arrested by the FBI. He now faces five to 30 years behind bars after being convicted by a jury yesterday.
Further, he perverted tabloid language by saying he wanted to, “have sex with a young hottie.” He should also serve time for taking liberties with such a pure word as “hottie.”
