The New York State Independence Party wants Lindsay Lohan to run for office. They think she would make a perfect New York City Public Advocate, which is a position that is only one step away from Mayor.
No reason was given as to why they chose her. They most likely saw that she was a mature, law abiding citizen. Or maybe this is their new version of “Rock the Vote”
Whatever the reasons may be, she has our vote.
