The MTA has figured out the biggest reason we are forced to stand on the subway platform, whether it be unbelievably hot or cold, waiting for the delayed subway October 2005 to October 2006. Apparently, our ability to arrive on time is greatly impaired by passengers fainting due to hunger, specifically because they choose not to eat. In other words, we are usually late for work because we live in a city that values a person who is constantly on a diet.
“Not eating for three or four days, you are going to go down,” Asim Nelson, a transit emergency medical technician said. “If you don’t eat for 12 hours, you are going to get weak.”
We do not think that is called a diet.
