It was apparent from day one that the release of Dustin “Screech” Diamond’s sex tape was executed with his consent. In fact, the tape itself is obviously staged. How else could he find two girls who would be willing to sleep with him?
TMZ reported:
The release of the Screech sex tape was no accident.
Dustin Diamond previously shot down TMZ’s report that he was involved in the release of his infamous sex tape, but now admits to Details magazine that he was in on it from it the start.
He explains in the interview that someone was threatening to let the tape loose, so he called up Red Light District and struck up a deal with them to beat the “sleaze guy” to the punch and make some money. “We backdoored them,” he says … bringing back all those icky “Dirty Sanchez” memories. Thanks a lot.
We are pretty sure he actively sought out a company to release his video. We also suspect that this ill-planned hoax was his last grasp at fame before he is even too irrelevant for VH1’s “Where Are They Now” files.
We guess Screech’s visions of being the next Andy Kaufman are going to have to be put on hold for a little while longer.
It still really sucks that we had to see him give a “Dirty Sanchez” to that girl in the crown.
