Seriously.
Everyday for the past month, we hear, “break out your winter coats because all this warm weather we have been having is going to end tomorrow.” But it never does.
Now, instead of saying that it is going to be freezing sometime in the future, we would rather talk about it after it happens. That way, there is less chance for error, unless our ability to feel freezing temperatures has been damaged by overexposure to warmth.
Here is our report: “it was so damn cold last night. And, it will be just as freezing today.”
The National Weather Service even backs up our claim when they confirm that 20 mph winds will make it feel like it is 5 degrees today.
There is even a chance it will snow tomorrow.
The good news is, this cold weather and high winds prompted the 8 dolphins, who have been trapped for the past few days in a shallow inlet in Long Island, to swim through the small passageway and into deeper waters. Now, they will be able to eat.
That’s nice to hear and all, but we do not think that we are ready for the painful wind slapping our faces and would kind of like to have the 60 degree weather back. Please.
