It seems like we barely get to see Nicole Richie anymore. That’s probably because of stupid Joel Madden and the impending jail sentence. It probably wouldn’t help her case if she were seen constantly partying, despite the DUI.
According to Life Style Extra:
The Californian Highway Patrol (CHP) handed over Nicole’s DUI case to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office on Wednesday (31.01.07).
The decision suggests CHP officials have recommended Nicole faces a criminal charge because the district attorney - rather than the city attorney office - has been asked to review the case.
It has also been reported that she is terrified.
That might explain the “Richie” tattoo on the back of her neck. It may give her the “street-cred” she needs to make it through the five days in jail.
We are going to get one, too, as an expression of our solidarity.
