Three officers involved in the shooting of Sean Bell on his wedding day last November will be indicted by the Queens District Attorney on Monday.
Queens DA Richard Brown will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. on Monday to announce the results of the sealed grand jury investigation.
None of the three men, including Bell who died as a result of his injuries, were armed. Initially police said there was a fourth man at the scene who had a gun and got away although there has been no further evidence of that.
Members of the black community have held a constant vigil in Queens demanding justice for what many consider an unjustified shooting.
