Naomi Campbell, looking a little too chic, is somewhere in the Lower East Side picking up garbage.
According to Canada.com:
Naomi Campbell is known for her fashion poses on the catwalk, not her cleaning skills. But the supermodel reported to a Department of Sanitation garage Monday, where she was expected to push a broom or mop, as she began her community service for throwing a cellphone at her maid over a pair of missing jeans.
Unlike singer Boy George, who served a similar community service sentence in full view of TV cameras, the sentencing judge allowed Campbell, 36, to be assigned to work indoors. The judge also granted Campbell’s request to delay her service until after several fashion shows.
She was photographed with a pair of dark work boots slung over her left shoulder as she entered the garage facility.
How is she going to pick up trash indoors? Maybe people are going to set up a fake “litter” scene. That sounds fun; it will be like pretending to work.
