Here’s the question, is Evangeline Lilly the absolute worst actress on television? I mean we all know she’s no Bea Arthur but does she have to be a Meredith Baxter Birney?
You know when you break up with someone and you have that one night when you both know it’s over and you have some crazy hate fuck session where things get just a little out of control, and you’re telling her you hate her while you’re drilling her against the wall?
That’s sort of how I feel about Evangeline Lilly’s acting. I’d like to try and hate fuck all the bad acting out of her. Like one good laying of the pipe might bring out some talent. I know, I know, my glass is half full, I am an eternal optimist.
Don’t get us wrong, Lost wouldn’t be the same without her but I swear every time she has a dramatic moment I start wondering where that smokey spirit thing that killed Mr. Ekko is when you need it.

Get one here.i think she’s fine but the character is annoying at times. it seems like she tears up at least once per episode. i’m supposed to believe she’s this tough fugitive when she can’t even breathe without crying? still, when the character is being a badass she’s still a lot of fun to watch.

Even if Evangeline Lilly were the worst actress on TV, which by the way, she isn’t. Does or would anyone really care. She is, and not only my opinion, one of the most gorgeous women on the face of this earth. I happen to know that she is also not just another pretty face.

I agree with you. She does not deserve a leading role in any kind of a TV show.
I wouldn’t say she’s the worst actress, but bad nonetheless.
I’m not a fan, and I don’t hate her, either.
What I dislike about her, as a person, is that she hates her fans and the publicy. Everytime someone, e.g. a fan and asks for an autograph she just keeps walking. She doesn’t want to be seen with the boyfriend (Former Lostie, Dominic Mognahan). The only thing likeable about her is her appearance.
