Just when you thought Bono couldn’t get any more annoying, he suddenly decides to delve into the most annoying trend in recent history: adapting perfectly fine literature into a musical. Worst of all, it is not just any form of literature, but the classic Spiderman comic book that he and bandmate The (pretentious) Edge (with director Julie Taymor) are working to bring to Broadway. New York Press reports.
And unfortunately for all of humanity, it is too late to stop this as auditions are already underway.
For all the good Bono has done for African nations, it seems as though his latest tactic to improve the quality of life on that continent is to make life here as painful as possible. In our medical opinion, Spiderman: The Musical will soon be the number one cause of intentional self-gouging of the eyes and blood-letting through the ears.

Want a neat little picture by your comments? Get one here. It’s not like this hasn’t been tried before. What? You mean you hadn’t seen the “You Could Dance On Stage With Cap!” ads for the Captain America musical that appeared in comic books a few years back?
Who could forget the picture of Cap with top hat and cane doing a bit of the ol’ soft shoe…
