Apparently Ethan Hawke hasn’t been on a magazine cover in a while and seeing all the publicity Sanjaya has been getting just pushed him over the edge.
Hawke says, “I started at the tail end of when it was so uncool to want to be ambitious. Then you wanted celebrity just to happen to you, because you were such a great artist. “Now I meet all these young people and they’re just all so interested in being on the cover of magazines and, like, getting ad campaigns. It’s revolting.”
