Yesterday we told you about the PA Commissioner-9/11 widow-line cutter Christy Ferer who made a total ass out of herself and cut an entire line and skipped security at LaGuardia. Anyone who’s been in that security line in LaGuardia knows what a pain in the ass it is and to see someone try and use their so-called clout to skip it is pretty frustrating.
Well Spitzer is having none of it and through a spokeswoman made it clear that Ferer’s appointment would not be renewed when it ended on July 1.
Other family members of victims of 9/11 also did not take kindly to the story of Ferer’s security skipping, line cutting fiasco.
“She lost her husband on 9/11, and one of the biggest problems that day was lack of security at the airports. You had 19 hijackers with 60-odd driver’s licenses, which allowed them to get on airlines. What good is a badge [if] anyone can get a badge?” said Bill Doyle, head of the Coalition of 9/11 Families.

The important problem on 9/11 was a flimsy cockpit door that could be shoved open easily.
Airlines had refused for decades to reinforce these doors.
