Saying that politicians these days are total idiots is sort of like standing on a soapbox and screaming that the sky is blue, you’re preaching to the choir brother.
As a wildfire burned through Griffith Park in LA yesterday destroying more than 600 acres at least one politician wasted no time going on record to put into words the gravity of the situation.
The fire, which started around 1:30pm was mostly under control by late afternoon, but after the sunset the wind shifted, scattering embers and igniting new blazes.
“The dance of this fire reminds me of how Mick Jagger dances on stage,” said city Councilman Tom LaBonge, who represents the area.
Luckily no one was seriously injured otherwise we may have gotten some sort of vague allusion to Keith Richards and his mystical love affair with all things illicit.
