The New York Times has publicly put Kaine and McDonnell in their place.

One might think after Virginia experienced the worst campus massacre in the nation’s history their politicians wouldn’t act like total asses in the pocket of the gun lobby.

One might also think that when Mayor Bloomberg sent special investigators to Virginia to help stop the flow of illegal guns not only to NYC but around Virginia that Kaine would be grateful. If you did think that, then you are most likely not a politician.

Attorney General Robert F. McDonnell is warning New York to stop, by the summer, sending private agents into Virginia to look for illegal gun sales, saying that the agents could face legal action.

Because of a Virginia law that goes into effect in July, New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg (R) and his agents could be charged with a felony if they continue to target Virginia gun dealers with undercover sting operations, McDonnell said.

McDonnell (R) has sent Bloomberg what amounts to a cease-and-desist letter.

“This was a courtesy letter to the mayor to advise him about a change in Virginia law of which he should be aware,” McDonnell said Wednesday.

Bloomberg’s spokesman, Jason Post, did not seem shaken: “We wish Attorney General McDonnell was as aggressive in enforcing the laws that prevent illegal guns from getting in the hands of criminals as he was in enforcing the laws that protect the gun lobby.”

What kind of ignorant, ass backwards hick do you have to be to insist that someone stop helping you get illegal guns off your streets?

Days after signing the new bill into law, Gov. Tim Kaine visited the bloody campus at Virginia Tech and shamefully warned against “hobby horse” politicking over firearms. The deaths of 33 students and teachers highlighted other flaws in the porous gun laws that would-be political leaders should be attacking, not abetting. The horror of tens of thousands of annual gun deaths will be compounded if the new crop of presidential candidates manages to duck an issue that more than 200 mayors, led by Mr. Bloomberg, are fighting from the trenches.

Bloomberg for President! Man this shit pisses me the fuck off. Bloomberg is taking an active part in helping to stem the flow of illegal guns not only into NYC but around the country and these ignorant fucks have the nerve to send him a cease-and-desist letter?

I say we take every person convicted of a crime who obtained a gun through illegal channels and instead of sending them to prison we just ship them off to Virginia.  Maybe that will solve the problem.
