Well this should be a fun three weeks on The View. It seems even the guests are starting to take sides. Alicia Silverstone was on The View yesterday, and came on after the Rosie/Hasselbeck bitchfight. After she was introduced she walked on stage and right past Elisabeth Hasselbeck, completely ignoring her and making a huge point of hugging the three other women. Oh snap! Take that beeyotch!
Now if I could only condition myself to stomach watching backbiting, bitchy, evil, hateful, ill-natured, malevolent, mean, nasty, rancorous, spiteful, venomous, vicious, wicked (did you know there are thesauruses on the internets?) women for the next three weeks until Rosie leaves it might actually be pretty entertaining.
I will however take this opportunity to once again point out that Elisabeth is a total moron.
I’ve also been informed by an alert reader that Rosie took the day off today and didn’t even show up to the show today.

I don’t exactly understand why you keep commenting that you can’t watch the show yet here is a whole website geared toward the show?????? A bit confusing. I have agreed with both Elizabeth and Rosie on different episodes but Rosie has a big annoying mouth on her and she is always pushing Elizabeth’s buttons because she knows she can. Elizabeth is a very smart girl and knows a lot about politics. Rosie never ever has any facts to back up her opinions and has said a lot of free will things that have upset a lot of people across the nation. Maybe ABC doesn’t want Rosie on the air anymore because she speaks too many opinions that have no facts to back them up. I have heard ABC is not going to renew her contract. She isn’t leaving ABC, they’re leaving her. The show was a lot better before Rosie came on. I knew she would turn the show into Jerry Springer!

There’s been exactly two posts on this issue. I would hardly call that “a whole website geared toward the show”.

Rosie took the day off because it was her wife’s 40th birthday.
Hasslebeck is a complete moron, I wouldn’t hug her either.

I NEVER was a Rosie O’Donnel fan…and I mean NEVER, but in the last few months I have seen something in her that has made me respect her in spite of her gratingly annoying personality. That woman has guts…she is absolutely right about the media in the USA, and she is also right that some of the events of 9/11 make no sense at all in the real world and were covered up at the vehement insistance of Bush/Cheney, who stonewalled or compromised the 9/11 investigation every chance they got. Elisabeth is a person who does not care that our troops are dying for Exxon and Unocal, that we are murdering hundreds of Iraqi women and children DAILY, and have plans to invade IRAN as well. Oh no, as long as she has her money and her comfortable life she could care less, worse, she defends these war-mongering tyrants against anyone who “rocks the boat” of her cushy live. Absolutely sickening. I couldn’t hate her more.

Another amazing display of the intolerance of the left on anyone who doesn’t agree with their views. Isnt that why the left hates the right? Elisabeth didn’t attack anyone. I do love courageous stands on personal beliefs but Silverstone was just being childish. Rosie should have some facts, at least once in awhile. And if your truly involved in the many complex issues that are going on, you should demand facts to back up your beliefs. We need to start finding people we can trust. None reside in Washington or Hollywood or on the view for that matter.
