Paris Hilton Already Out of Jail? — Metadish, Fresh from NYC

UPDATE: According the LA County Sheriff’s department’s press conference Paris will be forced to wear an ankle bracelet and will be confined to her home for 40 days. And we all know how much staying at home for 40 days in a mansion with servants and unlimited resources would completely suck.

They’re also saying that Paris was credited for serving five days even though she didn’t check into jail until Sunday night at like 11:59 p.m. and was released by 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

Their philosophy being now she doesn’t get the time off for good behavior that reduced her sentence to 23 days served in an actual jail, she gets her original sentence of 45 days, minus the “5 days” she served already, hence the 40 days of being sentenced to the hell she calls home.

It all makes perfect sense!

Word on the street is that Paris was released from jail early this morning.

Unimpeachable sources tell TMZ the deal was sealed yesterday, and that Hilton made her exit early early this morning.

She was originally sentenced to 45 days in jail, but that was reduced to 23. She served a total of three days — the normal stay for a violation of this kind.

If that’s “the normal stay for a violation of this kind” why wasn’t she just sentenced to three days? It’s also funny how this is the first anyone is hearing of a “normal stay”.

Justice may be blind, but the scales are used to weigh your bank account. What a fucking travesty.

Everything seemed to be rubbing me the wrong way this morning and I couldn’t put my finger on what it was. Now I know it must have been the feeling that unspeakable evil had been re-released into society.

The LA County sheriff’s office is supposed to be holding a press conference in an hour to discuss what happened. Stay tuned.

I really can’t tell you how angry this makes me, and my girlfriend had a brilliant idea on how to retaliate against injustice-
EVERYONE BOYCOTT STAYING IN HILTON HOTELS!
Maybe if she got to the point of ever needing a job in her life the girl would learn a little responsibility (not that I believe that will ever actually happen, but a girl can dream, right?)

I heard that the judge is supposed to be convening an emergency session this morning to find out whether or not to send her back to jail.

I guess in his original ruling he said something like she can’t be hooked up to any electronic monitoring devices.

Cross your fingers. She may be heading back to the big house.
