Alberto GonzalezIn a pretty much meaningless vote, the Senate is trying to “shame” Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez into resigning.

Although a Senate vote of no confidence would have no constitutional force in the U.S. system of government, Democrats want to shame the country’s top law enforcement officer with an official demand for his ouster over his handling of the firing of federal prosecutors.

This is the guy that literally wrote the book on acceptable torture tactics and using the presidency to flout our system of government.  Do you really think “shame” is even in this guy’s vocabulary?

That’s like making well thought out, high-brow jokes about the retarded kid (or the President) just to try and make him feel bad.  He’s just not going to get it.
