Rosie O’Donnell has been frothing at the mouth telling anyone who would listen that she’s super excited about the possibility of replacing Bob Barker as the host of the best daytime game show ever!
She’s apparently had a chance to reconsider. Rosie posted a video on her blog yesterday [Sunday] saying that she’s changed her mind.
“Well, here’s the thing: I don’t really need a job. I’m in a weird position. I don’t need the money.”
“So to get my entire family uprooted from their lives and move them across the country so that I can have a fantasy childhood indulgence, you know, job … it just doesn’t seem fair.”
Imagine, The Price is Right in NYC?! That would be unbelievably awesome. We would totally wait in line for tickets to that show, homemade t-shirt and all.
It would have been pretty cool to see Rosie replace Bob, it would have definitely put a new kind of life into the show. Not that anyone could ever really fill Bob’s shoes, we’re just happy as long as it doesn’t turn out to be the overly goofy NYC weatherman Dave Price.
