Get one here.It’s one of those things where you can’t remember exactly where or when, but… I remember reading somewhere once a commentary that described Jimmy Carter as seeming a prisoner of the White House during the original Iran crisis (the one with hostages) and how this perception contributed to his not being re-elected.
Clearly the lesson Bush has taken from that was, no matter how bad a situation is, for God’s sake don’t let yourself get caught letting it occupy your time or attention.
