All three suspects are now in custody for the shooting of two cops during a Brooklyn traffic stop early Monday morning.
Robert Ellis Jr. and his partner Dexter Bostic were both captured in a remote wooded area in Pennsylvania near the Poconos within 12 hours of each other. The police were alerted by an alert motorist who saw the pair walking along a rural section of I80 earlier this afternoon.
Cops then followed empty food wrappers and muddy footprints straight to both suspects who were tired, hungry and unarmed. The cops managed to run down and tackle the “winded’ Bostic but Ellis managed to outrun the cops and avoid them for another 12 hours before being captured.
