• ConEd has spent $1.4 billion to make system-wide improvements to their system to avoid more blackouts like the one that happened in Queens and a small part of Brooklyn last summer. $90 million specifically to the Long Island City network that failed and the rest of the $1.4 billion on “reforms in infrastructure and customer service”.
