• Chris Benoit probably sedated his kid with Xanax before smothering him. Benoit himself was found to have Xanax, Vicodin, morphine and steroids in his system. [NYP]
• Former Staten Island Ferry captain, Richard Smith, who fell asleep at the helm causing the ferry to crash into a pier killing 11 and injuring 165 was released from prison yesterday after serving a 15-month sentence. Smith says he “feels sick” when he thinks about what happened. [Daily News]
• Bush advisers catch up to the curve and begin admitting that not actually going after bin Laden may not have been the best plan of attack to actually capture bin Laden. [NYT]
• Michael Vick has been indicted on dog fighting charges. Come on Vick, dog fighting? Why don’t you pick on somebody you’re own size? [CNN]
