I’m almost loathe to post this clip because I really don’t want to give this British asshole (I’m not even sure if he’s British) any publicity. Jonah Hill and Michael Cera get suckered into this guy just being a dick. The problem is he’s so much of a dick the humor is lost and you just feel sort of bad for the the kid. The reporter basically asks him what it’s like to be fat and ugly and Jonah Hill loses it. Personally I was rooting for him to knock the guys teeth out.
And poor Michael Cera must literally be like his character on Arrested Development because he’s just caught in the middle and trying to calm everyone down but he’s so soft spoken and uncomfortable AND professional that he realizes this is a lose/lose situation.

Make it 100% that is Edgar Wright and it is 100% fake. Kinda like the Cera getting fired bit from Knocked up.

I figured as much. I just don’t know how Superbad benefits from this. I would be really surprised to find out it was a goof and tha Jonah and Michael were in on it.
If it is a goof it’s not a very good one because it can’t bode well for Superbad’s target audience I wouldn’t think.
