• Investigators still aren’t clear what exactly ignited the blaze at the Deutsche Bank building at Ground Zero that killed two of New York’s Bravest over the weekend. One thing that does seem to be clear is that still, almost 6 years after 9/11 their radios weren’t working properly. Oh yeah, and the standpipes apparently weren’t working either. [NYP]
• Jamaica smashed by the wrath of Dean. It seems the rest of Queens went relatively untouched though by some amazing coincidence. [NYDN]
