Lauren Cleari, wife of NYPD Frank Cleari, revealed to millions of viewers on national television that she’s been a bad girl. Real bad. This gameshow is a lie detector type show, where the host asks questions about a contestants personal life and the contestant must answer it truthfully. If the contestant answers truthfully then they win money and can continue on. They can quit at any time if they feel like they don’t want to reveal too much information (TMI). Oh the morality!
The 15th question for $100,000 went a little something like this: Her ex-boyfriend comes out and asks “If I wanted to get back together with you would you leave your husband?” The answer: Yes!
It gets worse. Question 16 went a lot like this: “Since you’ve been married, have you had sex with someone other than your husband?”. Answer: Yes!
The New York Post reported that this actually caused these two to divorce. My fellow New Yorkers, I’d be on the lookout for a disgruntled NYPD officer. Just a heads up. Here’s a clip:
