Loading ...Gov. Eliot Spitzer has been linked in a prostitution ring called Emperors Club VIP. Caught on a federal wiretap last month arranging to order a woman to go from NYC to DC where the governor was staying and had arranged a room.If the timeline is correct, the night he ordered the woman, he appeared on a CNBC TV program at 7am the next morning.
“The governor’s travel records show that he was in Washington in mid-February. One of the clients described in court papers arranged to meet with a prostitute who was part of the ring, the Emperors Club VIP on the night of Feb. 13,” the paper says. “Mr. Spitzer appeared on a CNBC television show at 7 a.m. the next morning. Later in the morning, he testified before a Congressional committee.”
Just what is this so called Emperors Club VIP? Sounds cheesy as hell, of course by now their website is down, but with the magic of the internet I dug up their homepage as of Jan 2008. Take a look.
