This is an actual monster, some sort of rodent-like creature with a dinosaur beak. A tipster says that there is “a government animal testing facility very close by in Long Island,”
Gawker reported it, then they followed up that there will be a small press conference with eyewitnesses and the photog. See that story here
Keep looking at the picture, I did and I sort of just threw up in my mouth a little. On another note, who thinks this looks like a high school mascot come to life? The Pawtucket Puffins?
